In an effort to get our high quality, soy-free, certified organic feeds CLOSER to you, we have been actively seeking and enlisting resellers of our products. Ask your local pet food store or Agricultural coop or Hardware Store or Feed store about carrying Countryside Organics feeds. The more they hear from you that there is a customer base available to them the more inclined they will be to call us or be interested in our call when we call them.

Preparations for Spring Have Started in Earnest

The weather has been mild and winter hasn’t been able to muster much of a punch. Yet. The next few days are expected to be in the 50s to 70s without freezing. It’s hard to resist the gardening temptation. Folks are ready to get going on their spring projects.

This morning, Kevin Fletcher, President of Countryside Organics, remarked, “once the sun hits the frontal lobe of the brain, everybody starts to think about gardening.” Hmmm. Watch out, frontal lobes! The bustle and hustle in the store, on the truck routes and over the internets has been picking up. If spring isn’t officially here, it can’t be far around the corner. Following are some links to the good stuff gardeners and flock-keepers, herders and grassfarmers are picking up for spring.

Chicks for spring flocks are on their way so we are busy fielding orders for Poultry Starter, Grower/Broiler and Layer. All Soy-Free and Certified Organic. Pastures are being readied with Herbal Ley. Pasture minerals are flowing out, like Thorvin™ Organic Kelp, Azomite (Micronized and Granular) and SEA 90.

In the gardens its all about soil preparation and soil building. Planters II, Azomite (Micronized and Granular) and Thorvin™ Organic Kelp for trace minerals. Organic Alfalfa Meal, and a whole host of OMRI approved fertilizers. And Greensand, Rock Phosphate and Humates (Liquid and Dry).
