thought for the day:

organic = sustainable

what customers are saying:

I left Countryside for cheaper, "All-Natural" feed. When my customers started COMPLAINING about the taste of my eggs I came back to Countryside!

Happy Spring!

It’s here – after plenty of snow and cold – Spring! It’s time to work with the soil! Healthy, biotic-rich, nutrient-dense soil. Start simple with some coir and organic compost. Put the bale of coir in a wheelbarrow. Add 5 gallons of water and leave it overnight. The coir will expand 5-6 times. Add 80-100 pounds of compost. Now you have a great soil for pots, potatoes, raised beds or rows. The coir will provide great structure and is a ecological, renewable replacement for peat moss.

Ready to get serious about your pasture or garden plot? Send Keith a soil sample ($20). Or if you already have one, fax it to Keith at 540-943-9993. He is our soil wizard. He’ll help you adjust for optimum nutrition, weeds and soil biome health.

Have a herd? How about our special Herbal Ley? And there is a rumor that we’ll have some pelletized Lespedeza soon. All kinds of good stuff is happening.

As always, if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to call us, toll-free, at 888-699-7088. Or email info@countrysideorganics.com. Or find more information on our online store.
